The open data portal features aggregated appraised value data on all real property types in Kansas in easy-to-read charts and graphs. The site is available free of charge.
Visit the Data PortalQuestions about assessed property tax on a specific piece of real or personal property should be directed to the Kansas County Appraisers Association (KCAA).
Visit the KCAAAppeal the "Notice of Value" for your property that you receive in the spring by contacting the county appraiser's office within 30 days from the date the notice was mailed, or complete and file a "Payment Under Protest" form with the county treasurer at the time you pay your taxes. Whether you pay half or all of your taxes, you must file this form by December 20.
