• Compiled Doc - Contains file layouts for minor convictions, major convictions, and suspensions/reinstatements for failure to comply. These layouts provide specific information regarding what data should appear in each field and how it should be formatted. Compiled Doc also contains test records required for testing the application with DMV as well as examples of the return files you will receive after submitting information to DMV.
• Confidentiality Agreement and Instructions - The Confidentiality Agreement will be necessary if anyone other than court personnel is working with setup or data. Please sign and return to DMV prior to beginning work on the application.
• CourtTransmissionClient Instructions and CourtTransmissionClient Application (.zip) - CourtTransmissionClient is the application used to transmit data to DMV and receive files back from DMV. Please print and review the CourtTransmissionClient Application Instructions prior to downloading the application. This application is necessary whether using the CSV files (KDOR application) or a vendor supported software package.
• CSV File Instructions (.pdf) - The CSV files (below) are provided to courts that do not have a vendor supported software package. Data entered into these files will be uploaded to DMV for processing. When entering data, please reference the file layouts in the "Compiled Doc" to ensure all required information is entered in the appropriate fields, in the format required. Once all information is entered, these files are saved (as shown in CSV File Instructions) and the CourtTransmissionClient Application is used to submit the files to DMV. Please print and review the CSV File Instructions prior to downloading the files.
